From the first pilot to a managed fleet

ChromeOS Deployment & Device Management

ChromeOS deployment is a workplace change project as well as a device rollout. We evaluate the roles, applications and peripherals your people depend on, design the management approach and validate the experience before expanding the fleet. From a small office to a coordinated enterprise rollout, we connect device readiness, enrollment, policies, training and operational handoff.

Where to begin

Start with the right scope.

Start with a focused engagement or combine services into a broader program. We agree scope, responsibilities and acceptance criteria before delivery.

01

Readiness assessment & pilot

Map employee roles to application, identity and peripheral requirements. Test representative workflows on selected devices and document suitability, gaps and pilot acceptance criteria.

02

Managed fleet rollout

Design the Admin console structure, prepare user and device policies, and coordinate enrollment and rollout waves. Validate applications, connectivity and support procedures before handover.

03

ChromeOS Flex & shared devices

Evaluate eligible existing hardware for ChromeOS Flex, or plan purpose-built kiosks and shared-device experiences. Match the device, enrollment approach and management subscription to the use case.

Project scope

What the work can include.

We identify the systems, people and dependencies involved, then define which activities belong in your engagement.

Hardware, management subscriptions and application compatibility are reviewed during discovery. Final rollout scope follows the readiness assessment and pilot.

User-role, application, printing, peripheral and identity compatibility review
Device selection guidance and management-license requirements
Organizational units, administrator roles and user/device policy design
Enrollment planning, including zero-touch coordination for eligible ChromeOS devices
Wi-Fi settings, applications, extensions and update-policy configuration
Asset records, deployment checks, user orientation and lifecycle handoff
How delivery works

From discovery to handoff.

What does a ChromeOS deployment project actually include?

A rollout can include user and application discovery, device selection, management readiness, enrollment, organizational units, policies, app delivery and a pilot. We then plan deployment waves, user guidance, asset records and an operational handoff.

Will our Windows applications and peripherals work?

We assess business applications, identity, printing, displays and other peripherals before recommending devices. Some workflows may need a web application, remote access or another supported approach. We test critical tasks in a pilot rather than assume every Windows workflow will translate.

Can we reuse existing computers with ChromeOS Flex?

Potentially. ChromeOS Flex has different hardware and feature support from ChromeOS devices. We check the specific models against current guidance, test peripherals and applications, and consider support life before recommending a wider conversion.

Can devices arrive enrolled and ready for employees?

Supported zero-touch enrollment arrangements can simplify delivery when the device, purchasing channel and management setup are eligible. We confirm those requirements first. Otherwise, we plan a controlled enrollment and configuration process.

Are device management licenses included?

Hardware and any required management entitlements are scoped separately from deployment labor. We review the intended use—employee device, shared station, kiosk or signage—and confirm the applicable device and licensing requirements before purchase.

Can you deploy kiosks, shared devices or digital signage?

Yes, these can be scoped as distinct use cases. We define the application, session behavior, connectivity, peripheral needs and support process, then validate the design on representative hardware before rollout.
